Hello, I’m Susan, mother of two beautiful girls and creator of Better Behaviour … Reward Charts for your Rising star!

As parents, we all face challenges that seem to take forever to solve.  Whether it’s the frustration of trying to put our children to bed without the drawn-out dramas, or making sure our littlies get enough vegetables to eat; wouldn’t it be wonderful if kids did come with instruction manuals?  Or better yet, remote controls!

One day, I watched a TV programme about Reward Charts and thought: “That’s the answer!” I searched the net for one that would suit the situation we were facing at the time – keeping Daughter No. 1 in bed on the first attempt, while I was pregnant with Baby No. 2 – and found nothing available in Australia.

So I made one myself!

And I’m proud to say that it worked within a week!

Talking to friends who were dealing with their own parenting issues with their little ones, I realised that ready-made reward charts would be fantastic!  Not only would they help with their kids, but also they wouldn’t even have to get out the paint box and marking pens to make one!  Some mothers said that they’d use a reward chart if they could get around to making one.  Another said “I don’t have an artistic bone in my body.”  So I came up with some really fun themes, and then set to work with a wonderful graphic designer and printer.  The result was Better Behaviour Reward Charts … colourful, motivational and easy to use.

I just know you’ll find them as fun and simple as my girls and I have, and you can look forward to greater pleasure from your children, and more harmony in your day.
